BANDUNG, WWW.PASJABAR.COM– As many as 5,053 participants took the State Islamic Religious College Entrance Examination (UM-PTKIN) at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung using the online Electronic Selection System (SSE) from 24-29 May 2021.
Because it is online, participants can take the exam from their respective homes, using a smartphone / tablet / notebook / laptop / personal computer device. The condition is that the device used must have an active camera and speakers.
Vice Rector I Prof. Dr. H. Rosihon Anwar, M.Ag., accompanied by the Head of the Center for Information Technology and Data Base, Invite Syaripudin, M.Kom, Head of the Secretariat Dr. M. Erihadiana, M.Pd. explain,
“Efforts to break the chain of the spread of covid-19 in the campus environment, the implementation of SEE UM-PTKIN is carried out online from each home. From 100,038 peserta SEE UM-PTKIN 2021 secara nasional, untuk di UIN Bandung diikuti oleh 5.053 peserta yang terdiri dari kategori IPA 443 orang dan IPS 4.610 orang,” tegasnya di Sekretariat Nasional SPAN-UM PTKIN, Gedung Lecture Hall Lantai 1 UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, Selasa (25/05/2021).
Pada tahun ini, jumlah peserta yang melakukan registrasi UM-PTKIN sebanyak 115.315 orang. Namun, hanya 101.738 orang yang membayar dan melakukan finalisasi serta berhak mengikuti ujian sebanyak 100.038 orang. Jumlah pendaftar untuk kategori jurusan IPA 8.264 orang dan IPS 91.774 orang.
“Alhamdulillah berjalan lancar. Untuk hari pertama pada Sesi 1 diikuti jumlah peserta : 560 dengan kehadiran : 528 (94%), selesai ujian : 526 (94%); Sesi 2 diikuti jumlah peserta : 560, dengan kehadiran : 534 (95%), selesai ujian : 538 (96%); Sesi 3 diikuti jumlah peserta : 560, dengan kehadiran : 537 (96%), selesai ujian : 539 (96%),” ujarnya.
Nationally, this year, reading and writing of the Al-Qur’an (BTQ) is used as a new test subject, in addition to the test items that have been tested in previous years, namely the Islamic Test, Academic Potential Test (TPA), Arabic and English. , Integrated Mathematics and Natural Sciences (for IPA groups only), as well as Integrated Social Sciences (especially for the Social Sciences group).
“With this BTQ examination material, do not let students who enter UIN not be able to read and write the Koran,” he explained in a release received by PASJABAR, Tuesday.
The use of SSE in UM-PTKIN makes it easier for the committee to monitor during the exam. This is important, according to him, in order to minimize fraud.
